Sitting Woman & Candle

Looking Northward... Long horizon /Far seer. Patience is her virtue. Logging many astral miles "neath cosmic vaults long forgotten by man.

Hair blowing, face to the wind, like the dog soldier, against the odds, always alone, she endures.........

Someday I must light the beacon before her, as in ancient times o'er water and land. We'll see what it brings in to the circle.....

What hands shaped thy symmetry and gave thee birth...so you may swim the murky depths of the great waters. Gathering food... sacred salmon of the rivers. The harvest of the freshwater depths.

How many years did you serve the old ones who fished with you ?
How many years were you a simple stone ?

This is the original photo of the canyonlands where these photos were taken.  It is the first photo on top of this page. The surrealistic look of these hills is matched by the feelings one gets when walking through them.  It is indeed an impressive odyssey to undertake and experience. I solarized the opening photo (top of page), that is all.  The North American continent contains mysteries of the ancients dating far past what science recognizes today.  Someday it is my hope to push back the barriers of time and prove without a doubt that mankind has existed and flourished ... and then was lost ....all in a period when the creation points, the dreamers and the drummers made the magic. When men walked with the animals who had no fur.
